Artist / Co-Owner Jeffrey C. begins the
process with a bar of steel and a gas forge, heating temperatures over
2,200 degreesFahrenheit. At this temperature solid steel
can be manipulated and shaped like soft clay.
In this picture Jeffrey
begins to hand forge a traditional scroll.
Gas forge, hammer, anvil, and other blacksmithing tools are used in this
creative process.
